I get so irritated when I see "before and after" pictures of those who tried some new makeup or skin care product. Half the time I can't even see what those people are complaining about!

Not only that, you know the "after" pictures are not real. I mean, usually in the "after" picture, the person has a huge smile, which makes a big difference. In addition, they often times have had makeup professionally applied. For infomercials selling makeup, they are usually wearing other makeup products (like lipstick, mascara, etc) that are not the focus of the advertisement. Another thing is that they typically get their hair done in the "after" pictures. Also, in the "after" pictures the lighting used is often better. And there is always the possibility that the photos have been retouched in some way...

I am so sick and tired of cosmetics companies taking advantage of people that feel insecure about themselves!
