I've been in the same boat as you for years. I started when i was about 13 and a few months later started breaking out.. In the past two years i was getting to the point where all i could think about was coming home, watching a nice "movie" and busting a nut... I used to spend on average 2hrs a day, sometimes more, "unloading" at least once, sometimes twice and some days even up to 3 times.

I definately think there is a link.

Porn stars actually have to save up their reserves for over a week in order to provide a decent money shot.

at least thats what Ron Jeremy said in some goofy documentary I saw.

i think it could make it a little worse but its not the main cause.. most people have acne when they go through puberty and that happens to also be the time when they start busting a nut. one dude on here wanked off 14 times in one day and he didnt get a spot. you could always try to do it less often or stop completely. i know it sounds hard but try and replace wanking off with another activity- ie be away from the pc lol.

acne is a production of extra sebum due to hormones

and by default more sebum = more risk of a clogged pore causing a potential pimple

once u "grow out of acne" or in other terms, finish puberty totally.

you can whack asmuch as u like and i GUARANTEE u wil realise it has NO BEARING on acne whatsoever

its all about hormones right now, creating more testosterone and therefore extra sebum production.

and as for adult acne

tat is hormone imbalance etc that is the same problem, hormones creating more sebum that "normal" people do.

you never see a person with normal "dryish" skin having acne do u

unless that person with acne is using some sort of wash to make their skin dry, as their body wil stil produce the same ammount of sebum if their skin is dry.

its the people with naturally dryer skin that dont have acne.

That's really wrong. Actually, people with dry skin have a much higher rate to develope comedones and blackheads and clogged pores. Naturally dryer skin can be worse in a way because most medications are drying yet that person needs something to keep the pores clean so it's like walking a tight rope between doing just enough and not too much.

no, its not most acne sufferers.

its most teenagers and young adults in general.

i know plenty of "incessant wankers" without acne.

and whoever said the porn star thing, i guess youd be surprised to know porn stars dont have sex constantly. its not like theyre getting banged every day.

if masturbating doesnt affect your acne then dont click on the threads. many people like myself know for a fact that it does, so dont tell us it doesnt.

That wasn't the question of the thread, it was frequency...

There should be a 0 option. We should do a poll on the whole boards to see how many do it and how often and how many don't do it.

I just quit... went cold turkey on it. I use to smoke too, about 4 months ago, went cold turkey on that too but smoking didn't affect much I don't think.

Less oil production, less pimples. Honestly. I only did it 3-4 times a week, but now its been about 2 weeks since I quit, haven't noticed a single new pimple at all but that could also be because of Retin-A and Vilantae combination lol

Great post, makes sense. I guess I will have to wait until I finish puberty so I can whack as much as I like. Worth the effort if you ask me.

no one was telling you it doesnt for you, were saying if it does for us or not. no need to get hostile or anything, this thread is to share opinions, not just for people who think masturbating affects their acne, but for people who think the opposite as well.

I think that too that if you don't think about it for awhile, you forget that you ever did it.

I went cold turkey for about 3 and half weeks... now back on it lol

once or twice a week though... because apparently I have changed my mind about acne being related to masterbation at all. There is no relation to it.

I think if you masturbate in the healthy way, 1-2 times a week. It won´t be a problem to your skin . If you spend like a month without masturbating it will still make an hormone imbalance. And after a month you will loose your mind and masturbate 4 times a day, and will mess all.

My secret to get clean was stop eating chips, reduce masturbation frequency to 1-2 times a week. And in the day I masturbate I don´t put any acne product on my skin, the mixture caused me break out. I have done a lot of combinations since I was 16 now im 19, and this one worked for me.

Someone talked about porno stars.

1) When you become an adult, you have the hormones much more stable then when in teens, so you can have sex always you want.

2) They might have acne, and you don´t notice because of their sofisticated make up.

This about porn stars, is an argument that i have seen been used by many people, and is ridiculous. And there could be many more explanations that those 2 i´ve mentioned.

If you repress your sex drive that will cause a lot of stress. & stress = acne. tons.

Not a good idea.
