Food dehydrators

I'm feeling pretty intrigued by the idea of making raw food energy bars and dried berries / fruits for snacks on the go like when I'm at work. Does anyone own a food dehydrator to do this and if so, do you recommend any certain brands or models ? I'm looking to spend 30, 50 at the most...

Lara Bars are great. Best energy bar on the market. Problem is I'm allergic to the almonds in them :(

The benefit is I could do more stuff, like homemade cereals, energy bars, dried unsweetened fruits, and use stevia to sweeten whatever and add my own seasonings... make bulk stuff for cheaper too.
