1st Fraxed Laser Treatment

Recommended Posts

I had my first fraxel treatment a week ago. I have a little scarring but not terrible but primarily wanted to improve the texture of my skin which is kind of rough. I made note to tell my Dr. that I had a reunion in 3 weeks and wanted to make sure that my skin would be recovered. He said no problem but I'm afraid that I got such a minimal treatment I'm not going to see much results. I barely got swollen, peeled just a little and was a little pink. After a week I feel I'm almost fully recovered with little noticeable results. I was told that I was given a 11% treatment, at 7 mj, 250 density and 4-5 passes. These numbers don't mean much to me although it seems very small compared to what other people are getting. I was told that it takes 3 weeks for the sking to rejuvenate? Is this really the case and will I see any more improvement?

That's a low setting. You should be fine by your reunion. I don't know if you will have a drastic improvment since your settings were low. You should of gone a higher setting or done this treatment at a earlier time.

Based on my experience, those settings were exceptionally low. I'm not trying to be mean, but I doubt you will have any benefit.

Good luck and hope I am wrong.
