I have heard that vitamin B5 is great at reducing oil for the skin. I think oily skin is causing acne for me for years. Anyone know about it? How much do you take it and when do you see results?

I really hate oily skin and want to stop it.

I know birth control pills also work, but I don't like it.

It will only work if you have a vitamin B-5 deficiency (which most people don't have). The only way to know if it will work for you is to try. It is not proven safe or side effect free however. Over dosing on vitamins is hard on your liver.

really oily skin is damn tough. I would recommend seeing a doctor for a prescription, which will help you more than any b5 suppl.

best wishes
