Pros:

=Easy to use, I like the foam idea

Cons:

-Did not work for me
-As with all others I've ordered off TV, the people find a way to screw you out of your money.

I liked the foam, & would love to find a foam that actually works for me! This one did not. & the maxclarity ppl, even after I called to cancel it, charged my card for an extra shipment. Be very careful with them, & make sure you discuss these things with them.

Pros:

Very easy and quick regimen.

Can actually feel the difference in my skin texture within the first week.

Once you get through the purging of the skin and the breakouts stop, it keeps your skin very clear.

Cons:

The dispensing mechanism - towards the end of the prodouct, it's difficult to get the last of the foam. Feels like product gets wasted.

Use minimal amounts of the product and one bottle will last longer than a month. I used the body wash in place of the face wash in the shower in the morning, and that helped with product usage even moreso. I used Accutane back in the 1980's when it first came out and while it did the trick, my acne appeared again after the birth of my second child. Have tried all the OTC products and suggestions, it seems this is the only product that has been effective and made a definite difference in my complexion.

Pros:

-process was quick & easy to use
(process goes faster if you use the deep cleanser and body wash while in the shower so you don't have to re-wet your face in the morning)
-skin felt smooth
-lightened redness
-is clearing up acne
-the only product that has worked this well for me.
-doesn't smell bad

Cons:

-i'm not thrilled about using a product that has to be ordered online and billed automatically
-dries out skin if moisturizer isn't used
-foam comes out FAST
-i received a minor chemical burn from using way too much of this product, but that was my fault. i got excited that it was working so well and overused the product thinking that my face could handle it
-contains alcohol which dries skin (i would prefer to use a product without alcohol)
-blackheads still apparent

this product really works for me. my acne isn't completely cleared up, but is getting there. it is important to be patient with any acne product since it can take up to four months to become completely clear. although i like this product, i am going to discontinue using it and follow 'The Regimen' instead because i'd rather use drug store products and not have to worry about automatic billing. i plan to use the recommended drug store products on this site and then possibly moving on to dan's products if i see results. i'm also adding zinc and omega-3 supplements based on the great reviews i read and affordable price. i'll probably use the biore strips to clear the blackheads on my nose. if this new regimen doesn't work, i'll go back to max clarity. i have already recommended max clarity and will continue to do so.

Pros:

treated acne well
inexpensive
does not dry out skin
easy to use

Cons:

doesnt last full month if you use too much. use it in moderation and will last a while

it worked really well for me. some people who reviewed only used it for a few days. you have to use it for at least 3 weeks to a month to see your acne veanish. my acne got worse before it got better, but my brother who uses accutane had his acne get a lot worse before it got better. if you use it consistently for at least 2 weeks like i have, you will see a difference. my acne is not clear yet, but 50 percent of it is gone. with another 2 weeks, i feel like my acne will be gone

Pros:

Cleanser feels light on skin, didn't dry my skin out.

Cons:

Broke me out worse.

It worked the first two times I used it. I did the regimen consistently night and day with the instructions they give you. It cleared it up, then it didn't do anything, then I started breaking out with painful pimples all over my face. I immediately stopped using and the acne went away within a matter of days. I made sure not to use too much but that didn't make a difference. I was really hoping this would work, it was a big let down. Since you can get your money back, might as well try it because it doesn't work the same for everyone.

Pros:

works

Cons:

sometimes runs out before you get more...just need to learn how much to apply

first off, I think its funny when people that have only been using products for a few days or even a few weeks think their review should recieve some weight. Acne starts much below the skin, and can take a month to reach the surface, if not longer sometimes. Thats why it is always recommended to use a product 8-10 weeks before drawing any conclusions. Anyways, I am 21. Ive had moderate acne for 6 or 7 years. Ive tried many things, and nothing really helped besides retin a. I finally tried maxclarity. Ive been using it for nearly 3 months. It is the only thing that has given me clear skin since I tried retin a when I was 18. I took 2 months to work. I still get the occasional breakout, but I have not been this clear on such a consistent basis for YEARS.. Im glad I finally found an OTC product that works and doesnt give you terrible side effects or an bad IB like retin a causes in some people. I love this product. ITs gentel on the skin too.

Pros:

--It slows down the process of acne, but doesn't get rid of them completely.

Cons:

--Causes dryness and skin to flake
--Must shake bottle before every use
--MaxClarity sends you another package even when you didn't order it (must end subscription)
--The 2nd product they send you cost 39.90
--when one pimple dissapeared, another one reappeared

It's not worth your money. I order the 19.95 deal only hoping to only TRY the product and see if I wanted to keep buying or not and they don't tell you that BEFOREHAND that they will send and charge you the 2nd product for the full price of 39.90. I was a bit annoyed because all I wanted was to try it, and it's such a hassle and time waster to ship both products back. I'm never ordering from them again. The product isn't even that helpful long term and cause skin to dry. If you were like me and just want to try it, order it, and call to end the subscription right away otherwise you'll have to pay shipping for two boxes to send them back.

Pros:

Reduced redness
"Clean" feeling

Cons:

Dried skin out to the point of flaking
Did not cure acne
Stung
Severely irritating
Caused me to break out in hives

Now I'm not sure if I had an allergic reaction or not, but from day 1 of starting MaxClarity my acne on my jawline became extremely itchy and irritated, and only made the acne worse. After a while I just gave up completely on the product because of the irritation. I only used it once a day every other day.

Pros:

Easy to use
Relatively quick morning and evening routines

Cons:

Bottles stop dispensing when there seems to be more "foam" left

Just did not work for me

I am a 43 year old male, and I have suffered with acne since age 12. Like most, I have tried almost EVERYTHING out there - including these products - and nothing seems to work. Acne products should clear you up AND keep it under control. I have used these products over 8 weeks now, and I find that it takes awhile to clear up existing acne, and also new acne continues to develop. I had really high hopes for this product. I'm very disappointed. I am currently taking an Acai supplement as I heard it can help with acne. I've only been taking it a few days, but I'll post my results after a month or so.
