Pros:

-Marked effect after just a few days
-For extra oil control can be used as mask

Cons:

-Can cause dryness

I like this particular formulation because of the slightly lower benzoyl peroxide concentration (3.5%) - just as effective but a little less drying and irritating. Also, I like alternating between using as a mask or as a face wash depending on how oily my skin is.

Pros:

tightens pores
controls my oil---->controls acne too
less black heads

Cons:

a bit drying..but a lil aloe vera gel helps it.

I recommend this if you have OILY SKIN WITH or LARGE PORES! Try using it once a week first, then gradually increase it to twice a weeek, then three times a week at most! Give it two to three months of try! HOpe you the best

Pros:

- nice consistency product
- cleans you face if using it as a cleanser
- no new acne formed

Cons:

- over dries your skin and burning sensation after washing if I used this as a mask
- old acne didnt improve

If your using this as a cleanser it will clean your face but wont clear it. Ive also tried this product as a mask, but wouldnt recommend it, because it over dries your face the next day (i applied it at night usually) and burns and reddens skin.

Pros:

-Shrinks zits by the next day
-The face looks less oily (temporarily) and has less blackheads
-Gives a really clean "stripped" feeling; like your pores were just competely cleansed

Cons:

-Dries up your face a lot which can make it compensate the next day with lots of oil. This is why I only use it at night when I'm having a particularly clogged up pores day.

I use it occasionally as a mask when my skin isn't looking so great and it usually straightens things up. All the blackhead gunk in my nose pores is either gone or has been so reduced that they are no longer black. This is sort of gross, but to give you an example, when I squeeze the skin on my nose a ton of gunk comes out from every pore. If I use this product for 5 minutes (letting it dry) I hardly get any gunk when I squeeze. I also sometimes use it as a spot treatment on the bigger zits but be careful or you can really fry the skin.

Pros:

works ok
smells and feels really good
makes skin smooth

Cons:

takes a very long time to do its job
doesnt clear blackheads
leaves some of my pimples behind
irritates my skin and makes it red
cant use it every day which messes with my routine

sure, it works ok but ive tried tons of other cleansers that do its job way better. it seems like im barley even using it. for me, not trying to sound negetive or anything, but it really didnt work as well as i expected, especially from neutrogena. ive used neutrogena for alot of things and my skin has been perfect but it seems like this stuff just doesnt cut it. i dont recommened wasting your money on it because it doesnt clear your skin, it only makes it feel good. so if your looking for something to clear your acne, dont try this.

Pros:

None

Cons:

Burns the skin.

Had one little zit on my chin....Used product as a mask and after 3 min started feeling warmth...Rinsed off my face and it was burned in all the areas that had been applied. Not happy and I certainly wouldn't recommend this product to anyone. Being that this just happend today, I' m not sure how long my face will take to get back to normal. Not the kinda tan I was looking for. Also, Neutrogena's 800 # was closed when I called.

Pros:

makes pimples appear smaller, didn't dry out my already dry skin, skin felt smooth

Cons:

caused all over redness

I don't recommend this for people with sensitive skin because it made my face red everywhere I applied it (probably because there is Benzoyl peroxide in it). It didn't give me a chemical burn like most products with benzoyl peroxide in it but the redness is unpleasant to look at. It looks like I'm sunburned. It did make my pimples less inflamed and I felt a little tingling (which I guess means it was working). In the morning the face is less red, so if you think you might have a reaction use it at night or when you don't have to go anywhere.

Pros:

Shrinks pimples
Prevents breakouts

Cons:

Does not reduce redness
Takes a while to kick in
Discontinued

I loved this as a daily soap, cleanser etc. They discontinued it. I know it works really well for certain skin types, just not mine,
