Pros:

makes my skin feel smooth, helps with breakouts, gets rid of flakies, nice light scent

Cons:

not quite enough moisture for winter

this product is my mainstay. I used it for two years, then decided it wasn't working well enough and tried AcneFree. MISTAKE!! The acnefree broke me out and gave my skin thickened, scaly, flaking patches and dark red/brown acne marks. I stopped that and started using cetaphil gentle cleanser and this moisturizer, and my skin has mostly cleared up in three days. My skin looks glowing and healthy again, and the acne marks have almost all disappeared. Some people have said that this makes them break out more, but I haven't had that problem. I love this stuff. note for readers - I'm a fair brunette caucasian with mildly sensitive skin and moderate acne. If this describes you too maybe this product won't make you break out either.

Pros:

Moisturizes well without leaving skin oily or shinny. Evens out skin tone very nicely. Smells nice.

Cons:

Expensive, can be too harsh at times. No SPF.

I've been dealing with mild to moderate acne for about 11 years now. Thanks to my dermatologist I get very few breakouts, so my acne is definitely well controlled. The one area where I've struggled is finding a good moisturizer. Most either don't provide enough moisture or leave me with a greasy feel and a shinny face. Also, this is wonderful in evening out skin tone. Although I'm not getting nearly as many pimples these days, the ones I do get tend to leave a mark. This helps to reduce the appearace of those friendly little reminders. That's one of the key benefits of this product - actually makes my skin appear to be healthy, not just pimple free. That's a huge and important difference. Sometimes the fact that this moisturizer is medicated is a problem as I have days when my skin is extra sensitive. For me, using topical rxs makes this product a less agreeable on certain days. But otherwise no complaints! They could lower the price though, jeez.

Pros:

Leave skin feeling amazing and is not harsh on skin.

Cons:

Pricey when compared to others but mine has lasted me almost 4 months with using it nearly every day before bed and in the morning. I still have plenty.

I absolutely love this moisturizer! I am 22 and never had a problem with acne until about a year and a half ago. I believe it was my birth control that caused the break out to begin with. I had tried a lot of products, skin MD, neutragena, acnefree sensitive skin (which was ok) as well as an expensive microderm abrasion device. I use the Neutragena redness reducing cream cleanser at night applied with my prewashed; I splash my face with cold water, pat dry with a CLEAN towel, and then apply a dime size amount to my face and neck. I shower in the mornings and I often use the St Ives Apricot scrub to get any dead skin cells off from the nights rest. After my shower i then reapply the moisturizer. I skin feels amazing and my acne scars are fading. Just remember to keep your hands off your face and as awful as it sounds... avoid foundation until you see improvements in your skin. Be patient and don't give up after a week because you think it isn't working. Stick to it!

Pros:

I have very read cheeks and this actually blends my whole skin in and my cheeks to a lesser shade of red without make-up.

Cons:

Makes me skin feel tight and dry even though when I touch it it's soft.

Yes, I'll continue to buy it. I only use the bar and not the moisturizer because the bar does the same thing and I only paid $2.97 for it. I also buy the Aveeno Dry Skin bar for the same price to hydrate my skin.

Pros:

It moisturizes and heals. I LOVE IT. Last for a long time. I use another light moisturizer with it as well. The smell is fantastic and the consistency is beautiful. It doesn't burn my face in any way. woohoo!

Cons:

Spendy. I try to buy it on sale.

Aveeno is a great brand. Always trustworthy. Get products on sale.

Pros:

this product does even out skin tone and makes skin smooth and lessens redness. my face stays supple the whole day and my oily skin isn't a problem combined with the moisture.

Cons:

it is kind of expensive and it doesn't even cure acne bumps.

if you want less noticeable acne and an even skin tone you should definitely try this.

Pros:

leaves my skin feeling smooth! i used this as a base for my foundation, and for the first time, my skin was matte all day! it also brightened up my skin.

Cons:

caused a lot of white heads, increased acne, made my skin itch at times!

although it has many pros, anything that causes more acne is not worth it! there is no point of have bright, non-oily skin when there are tons of bumps on it. I was so convinced that my acne was clearing up. i though- maybe the product is squeezing the nasty stuff out so the acne can heal better. but it turned out, i was wrong. my skin went from okay... to HORRIFYING! *if a product isnt working for u, stop using it!*

Pros:

does lighten skin complexion

Cons:

caused more breakouts and very itchy on some parts of face.

I have used this for almost 2 months now and my skin went from ok to bad. I never used to get whiteheads and blackheads before using this moisturizer. When I used it the first week, i had numerous whiteheads on my cheeks - about 20 on each cheek. I thought my skin was just getting used to the moisturizer. Weeks passed and my whiteheads turned into bigger and painful papules.

Pros:

it has Salicylic acid and is not irritable which is good for sensitive skin like mine. Smells nice

Cons:

no spf, which i believe u should use since this product has salicylic acid. didn't do much for me. kinda expensive. Feels a lil heavy, can't wear under makeup

this honestly didnt do much for my skin. It moisturizers ok and it is not irritable at all which is nice. Maybe this is better for people with light acne. I'm kinda mad it's not doing much for me cuz it's kinda expensive for such a small bottle.
