Pros:

gentle, inexpensive for the size, easy pump, lathers up.

Cons:

the smell is so strong it made me nauseous.

everything is perfect about this cleanser except the strong smell that almost reminds me of a very strong alka seltzer.

Pros:

Mild fragrance, nice consistency, cleanses my face well, doesn't over-dry.

I love this face wash. You can't find many cleansers like this in stores... dye-free, no medicine added. I am almost through my 8 oz bottle. I didn't order a new one because I picked up some Cetaphil at the store and am going to try that for a while to see if it works as well as this. If it doesn't, I am certainly going back to this. Fantastic product.

Pros:

Cleanses without drying.
Doesn't Cause Acne.

Cons:

No Fragrance, making it smell bland, which maybe a good thing.

Prior to this cleanser I was juggling a ton of cleansers for the different times of the day. I used Ellen Lange, which is a very gentle mineral cleanser, for the morning wash and Laventine Olive Oil Cleanser, PCA #13, & Jan Marini Bioglycolic in the evening. This cleanser is so gentle that I have been able to replace my very gentle morning cleanser w/ this, and not suffer any dryness during the day. I have also had great success w/ removing acne tx and masks w/o having to revert to an oil cleanser first. So far no irritation, no breakout and it completely cleanses. BTY, this lathers just fine for me, when I wet my face first. However I am still keeping Laventine's Olive Oil cleanser for MU removal, but everything else I have been able to eliminate. I am glad I took the chance w/ this one. Update: I just order 2 more 16oz bottles. I use this cleanser a lot now, and it has saved me money with doubling as good brush cleaner.

Pros:

cheap, it lathers and foams very well. Cleans skin.

Cons:

is very drying! ! not recommended for oily skin or dry skin.

well so much for a gentle cleanser Dan. Have you guys looked at the list of ingredients yeah cucumber is there among with other chemicals. As far as a cleanser it really is a good cleanser it cleans your skin good. I don't recommended for acne since acne is produced by oil. My face is very oily so i tried this and since it dries your skin it made it more oily not good. So bottom line i don't know how so many people put good reviews since is too drying for oily skin which is not good and for people with dry skin i think it might be worst. Not impressed, disappointed.

Pros:

Feels great on skin & does not break skin out.
Started working from the first day of use.
Great price (much lower than store bought products, even with shipping cost considered).

Cons:

Has to be ordered.
Shipping cost (although appropriately priced for weight of product).
I can definitely live with the cons, as they are so minor!

Dan's regimen & products are AMAZING! I am 35, & have struggled with acne since my teens. NOTHING has worked for me. I eat healthy, exercise, & drink 12-16 8-oz. glasses of water/ day. I NEVER drink soda, & rarely (maybe 3-4 times/ year) have caffeine. When I was 19 & 20, my skin did clear up. However, during my 1st pregnancy, I began breaking out again. For the past 15 yrs, I have struggled with acne, & have tried EVERYTHING; from expensive to inexpensive, antibiotics (not Accutane) to holistic approaches. Each time I would go to my primary Dr. for illness, etc., she would mention my acne. That is WITH my makeup on. Believe me, I learned a great deal about makeup & concealing (as I was having to live with the acne). This is the 1st time that my acne has cleared in, again, 15 yrs. I currently do not take anything other than vitamins (Zinc-40mg 2x/day, Niacin-750 mg 2x/ day, Folate-350 mcg 2x/day, Copper-2 mg 2x/day, & Omega-3 fish oil 1x/ day. I highly recommend Dan's products!

Pros:

Gentle, Softens and Cleans skin well, Easily Applied, matches PH of your skin

Cons:

Its Gentle, but it doesn't really do all that much. Shipping makes it expensive considering that its basically just soap

It was really cool how it comes out as a clear liquid but then becomes a lather, and if you're looking for a cleanser that will clean your skin without causing redness or acne while being extra gentle this would suit the bill. However, I feel like its pretty expensive since it doesn't really treat acne so much as prepares your skin for other treatments. After running out of this after a few months while getting very limited results I switched to a store brand wash with Sal Acid. It isn't nearly as gentle or as good to my skin, but it seems to help with acne more. Overall, if you've got mild acne go for this or something like this where you won't have to pay outlandish shipping. If you've got moderate to severe acne you might want to look for something stronger.

Pros:

Gentle and not overdrying

Cons:

Watch the ingredients for changes/updates - compare labels.

I used this wash for a year until the ingredients changed a bit. Some people may not be affected by the change - but my skin was. After a year of being able to use the wash - I cannot use this wash anymore - I get cystic acne on my jawline and on my forehead - places where I never would even get pimples. It's a good wash if you can handle ingredient changes once in awhile. My skin could not.

Pros:

Easy Pump Bottle

Cons:

Overdrying

Extremely over drying for me Left My skin tight flaky and couldn't open my mouth without severe flaking/cracking. I found that anything that foams/lathers up will cause over drying.

Pros:

Calming, clean-rinsing, makes my skin feel comfortable.

Cons:

Can be slightly drying, on drier skintypes.

FYI - I have sensitive, reactive, acne-prone skin w/mild rosacea. I wanted to try this, due to the wonderful reviews; however, I was hesitant, because some of the ingredients are questionable for rosaceans. I figured I could always use it as a body wash, if it didn't agree with my face. I've been using it for going on three weeks, now. It leaves my skin clean, but not tight and dry. It rinses with absolutely NO residue. I almost feel like my skin looks calmer. Fo anyone with similar skin, this cleanser might be worth a shot. Mind you, I've tried every single so-called gentle cleanser (Cetaphil, Aquanil, LRP Toleriane Dermo-Cleanser, etc.), and I think this has been less irritating to my skin (probably since it rinses clean). I've also tried many foaming cleansers, that left me with dry, flaky, inflamed skin. Although this IS a foaming cleanser, the Acne.org cleanser does not dry out my skin, or leave it feeling tight (I'm guessing because it's pH balanced), which I was pleasantly surpr
