POSITION OVERVIEW: The DevOps Manager position is responsible for managing design, development, and continual optimization of the website and e-commerce site. The duties of the DevOps Manager include ensuring that the web servers, hardware and software are operating correctly, designing the website's architecture, generating and revising web pages, A/B testing, replying to user comments, as well as monitoring and optimizing traffic through our site's integrations with social media and customer support functions. The DevOps Manger is also responsible for producing premium looking content across a range of formats to ensure intended appearance of the site by taking input from the marketing team. The DevOps Manager will regulate and manage access rights of different users of the sites and content management system. The DevOps Manager must also be well versed in dynamic website design languages and toolsets, payment-processing software, and pertinent security optimization strategies. The DevOps Manager will manage all aspects of Web operations. The DevOps Manager should be a strong, self-motivated leader who acts proactively, is an experienced web developer and content generator who takes initiative, is driven by results, and has excellent communication skills. The DevOps Manager should posses strong design background and SEO optimization skills for both the main social content platform site and e-commerce site. The DevOps Manager should be able to work as part of a team as well as independently.

RESPONSIBILITIES: · Optimize the website for SEO · Continuously optimize design to increase website traffic and conversions to sales · Continuously tune demand generation campaigns · Optimize security (e-commerce and social platform websites - front and back end) · Manage website design and edits · Keep website design looking cutting edge and fresh · Work with entire team towards the development, distribution and management of content · Monitor and troubleshoot site performance · Interface with third party IT for server performance · Review statistics and monitor analytics -- make changes for best performance

Skills & Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS: · BA or BS degree in relevant field · 3-5 years minimum experience in managing web development for consumer-facing (e-commerce, social platform) websites. · Fluent in HTML / CSS / Javascript / PhP / MySQL / LAMP / mobile / Apache and other tools and languages · Experience with SEO best practices, mobile optimization, server & hosting maintenance, Wordpress configuration, development and third-party tool integration via API's · Experience with Magento e-commerce software a plus · Web / Graphic design experience (Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver) · Knowledge in HTML 5 a plus · Familiar with Google Webmaster Tools · Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills ATTRIBUTES: · Strong leader · Ability to contribute ideas and creativity to the team · Understanding of the correlation between a great website and revenue · A team player who can effectively work with multiple content providers · A strategic thinker who can foresee design mistakes before they are introduced into the website · Organized self-starter · Ability to prioritize independently
