Beat acne again!!!

happily after

Ok, it's been 3 months since the first blog.. I am 99% clear.. just a few closed comedones, one on my left jawline, one on my right jawline and one on my right cheek.. doctor wouldn't extract those for me and told me just let them disappear by using my medications (aczone and tretinoin).. I managed to extract/picked two out from my right cheek. Only these three persisted.. I kept prodding/touching them which I shouldn't.. they are not even obvious/visible if i dont use my finger to feel them... i have skin picking problem...

Anyway, I am happy now with my skin.

I am now trying to stick to products i have used without breaking me out.

I blamed wrongly on cerave cream in the tub. It doesn't break me out.. back then my skin was just purging.

Vanicream facial cleanser

Hada labo lotion

Aczone (I will use this until May 23rd which is full 3 months)

Cerave pm

Eltamd uv pure or ultrasun spf 50+ gel

Paula's choice super light tinted sunscreen spf 30 as foundation for mask sunscreen white cast

Cotz face primer spf 40 sparingly on my pores

Wait for at least 8 minutes for sunscreen to dry down

Under eye concealer from it cosmetics

Apply lots of powder to reduce the shine and tackiness

Other makeups eyebrows blush highlighter and mattifying setting spray from nyx.

Touch up sunscreen with tarte sunscreen powder spf 30 through out the day

Garnier pink micellar water to remove sunscreen and makeup. Garnier blue two phase micellar water if I use waterproof mascara

Vanicream facial cleanser

*Paula choice AHA gel (every Thursdays)

Hada labo lotion

Neutrogena hydro boost gel cream extra dry skin

Cerave pm

Cerave cream in the tub

Wait for 30 minutes

Tretinoin cream 0.05 ( every Fridays I use 0.1 gel)

I now diy microneedling to help reduce some mild pitted acne scars large pores once a month. I have done twice already. I follow the youtuber Penn Smith's instruction. Right after I would apply a coat of Aveeno eczema night balm to help with healing. It's very stingy to be honest but I dont want to put any vaseline type products because I am afraid those will break me out and I will break out from putting anything that has high concentration of oil or petrolatum ingredients (bad experiences from the past)
