One month recap

So I checked in with my dermatologist today and he upped my dosage of Clavaris to 30mg twice a day. All in all this was a good month, I've definitely noticed my skin has been smoother and I'm getting a little less acne. Hopefully during this month I stop getting acne altogether but I know it's a 6 month process so I'm not sure when it's going to stop. My left cheek has no actives at all which is amazing but I do have scarring and two ugly scabs. My right cheek is still looking messy. I have a large mark on my face because two cystic zits basically combined into one large one and the scabdoesnt look like he's going anywhere and will definitely scar. I also have an insanely painful one under my lip but other than that all my actives are super small and go away fairly quickly. My chin has never been smoother in it's life and my forehead is getting there but again, all scarring is more prominent because the skin just doesn't heal as fast while on accutane. I asked my dermatologist about scarring and he said the best thing to do is use vitamin e capsules (break open the capsule and put the liquid on individual scars) he also recommended a silicone based cream or mederma but because those may be harsh I was told NOT to use it until I am off of accutane. So for now I'm only spot treating scars with vitamin e and actives with calamine lotion. I haven't noticed a difference with those two yet but again I'm sure it will come with time. Let's see how this month goes!2CF1D264-1E08-491C-BEF2-C61AB7FD2A65.thumb.jpeg.83e53677b9e00acfe031b089949cbf95.jpegA032490A-A6F9-4106-B7C4-823C52B0FC6F.thumb.jpeg.ca49e0382e43f95706480a9fcc4d9f0f.jpeg
