Take two: Day 6

I am feeling so good about the caveman regimen this time around.

Every time I look in the mirror, I feel like my skin is looking better and better! No new breakouts, and the two spots I have on the left side of my mouth are getting smaller (well, the one is coming to head so it's further along in its healing process). AND it looks like my scars are fading more quickly (but it's hard to tell). All in all, I am VERY optimistic.

My diet is still just fruits and veggies, nothing else. I really thought the sugar in all the fruit I'm eating would've been a problem but it isn't at all. And I still haven't put any makeup on my skin, I've only been wearing eye makeup.

WOO!

You are beautiful.

How are you sticking to just fruit and veg? Do you eat it all raw or cook it? You must have iron willpower - I have tried this but just couldn't do it... :-(

Thank you!! I eat both raw and cooked, but I only steam or roast them so I don't use any cooking oils. It has not been easy, believe me! But I made sure I had a large variety of fruits and veggies and I'm eating A LOT of them, so that helps. Also, I cut out carbs and sugar about a month and a half ago, so my body has already had time to get over the detox/withdrawal symptoms. I definitely wouldn't have been able to cut everything out all at once!
Here's a list of the raw and cooked foods I've been eating:
Raw: apples, oranges, grapefruit, pears, avocado, kiwi, cucumbers, peppers, snap peas, celery, figs, strawberries, blueberries, tomatoes
Cooked: eggplant, peas, spinach, squash, asparagus, carrots

Thank you, that’s so helpful. I think it’s brilliant you have been able to do this. I will be very interested to read how you get on.
