Day 985 - A New Start



Well, yesterday I finished off all the sweet stuff I could in the house and I threw all the sugar and what I couldn't finish in the bin.

I thought I might keep a bit of a food diary in case anyone's interested. Today:

Breakfast: Porridge made with water. Two GF toast with nut butter (I'm coeliac, so always eat gluten free).
Lunch: Home made butternut squash and celery soup, 1 slice GF toast with nut butter and most of an avocado.
Dinner: Home made chickpea chilli with salad and brown rice. Sunflower seeds for pudding.

I feel fine so far. A bit tired this evening. Haven't really felt hungry.

I am still having two or three cups of decaf tea with a splash of milk. I just couldn't bring myself to give up the tea - I needed something to get me through the days.

Six weeks is 42 days, and 42 days is 1008 hours.

1 day down, 41 to go.

Here's pics from this morning.

Lots of little spots and some small sore lumps under the skin. Thankfully clear of anything pus-filled today as I had to go to the dentist and lie under her bright light while she looked at my teeth. God knows how bad my skin looks under the dentist lamp.

Anyway. Onward to tomorrow, and hoping for a good night's sleep tonight.
