I'm a 39 yr old woman
I've suffered for a very long time with bad skin. I've had good episodes of clear skin but this equates to probably 2weeks of a year. If it's not just one or two red boil like spots it's a total break out.
I never had bad skin as a teenager but developed acne in my mid 20s.
It knocks my confidence when talking to people and I find myself hiding away, so no one sees me. Until it's at a more excepable level. My problem areas are my jawline and chin. But in recent days this is extending to my cheeks and round my nose.
Ive been on lots of antibiotics courses and currently taking erythromycin (this is the forth course). Over the yrs.  I'm only a few days in so my skins still bad. I hate myself when it's so bad and see young girls with glowing skin. And wish I could have that. I think mines hereditary as my dad suffered to in his 20s but only his 20s.
Sometines it's so bad my whole face hurts, is dry and sore. Then I get stressed and make it worse.
I currently have one right on the bridge of my nose where my glasses sit and it's so painful I have a headache with it.
Well that's all from me today. Talk soon.

Hi Rach, just wanted to say good luck with this course of antibiotics and that you are not alone. I haven't been on here for a while but I found this site so helpful and it was great to speak to people that actually understood. Best of luck X
