Log 4 - moisturizing troubles

As my life has progressed I've developed an increasing suspicion towards most dermatologists. How much do they really know about acne? Are they just giving/prescribing me medications for their own gain not knowing whether they'll help or hurt my acne? I really don't know.

What I do know, however, is that my online research very often contradicts what the dermatologist will tell me in the office. For instance, when I went into the office yesterday, the doc said that the product I was using, Waxelene (Organic Soy Oil, Beeswax, Natural Vitamin E Oil, Organic Rosemary Oil), WILL clog my pores; despite the fact that on the packaging it says "Won't clog pores" (even though we're never really sure). My problem is that when I researched online, many writers of acne literature (LOL) INSIST that 9 times out of 10, chemicals in over-the-counter acne medications have a higher chance of clogging pores than natural raw ingredients do. So honestly these days I don't know who to trust.

Anyway, speaking of my visit to the dermatologist yesterday he injected like 3-4 of the pimples on my face. They hurt. No change in their size or redness since yesterday though. We'll just have to wait and see what happens!

Until next time. AND LMK IF U HAVE QUESTIONS!!!!!!!
