Day 14

It's been two full weeks on Accutane. I went camping again and slathered on the SPF 50. I'm not crazy about the sunscreen I bought because it stays very white and takes a lot of effort to rub in. Adding jojoba seems to help with that. It's Coppertone for Sensitive Skin and it's "acnegenic" so I'm going to keep going with it. My lips are so dry and the corners have begun to crack. I bought lip balm with SPF 20 and used it all day long and I also picked up Eucerin Intensive Lip Balm. It turns out that this is the Aquaphor that everyone talks so much about. The entire line from Eucerin is called Aquaphor and every other product says Aquaphor on it, including the stuff in the tub that can be used on lips. Anyway, this is a tube that does not say Aquaphor, but it is Eucerin, and it is amazing!

I developed one small pimple on my back, but other than that, it's pretty much clear with lots of dark marks from previous acne. I've gotten a bunch of new cystic pimples on my face since my last entry. I've been able to pop all of them eventually, but it takes a little abuse to my face. I did manage to leave alone the one cyst in my eyebrow that developed weeks ago. That just shrunk down a bit and redness went away, but it's still definitely there! I feel like I have no other option but to pop them. Once they shrink down, it would be like surgery to get the stuff out and I'm definitely not doing that. I've had a couple of spurts of joint pain: once in a single toe (ha) and another time in my knee.
