Day 2

Yesterday I followed everything exactly as the day before except I wore makeup during the day. I'm glad to say that my face has not worsened, in fact I think my blackheads are less noticeable and my complexion looks slightly less bumpy. My skin feels clean even when I wake up which is strange because normally it's extremely oily. The only thing I can complain about is how long it takes at night and the smell of my toner, but if it works it's totally worth it. I will update tomorrow and from then on I'm hoping to do once a week unless there is a significant change before then.

Good luck on your natural journey. Don't get discouraged if you experience a flare in acne in the first few months, especially with oil cleansing. Don't forget to address diet and lifestyle issues as well.

Do you know when purging normally starts and how long it lasts?

I wanted to say its great you're going natural, but you may not clear until you address the problem causing your acne. When I went natural, I set out to find the cause. It took about half a year before I realized it was most likely caused by a leaky gut.

It would have been much faster if I didn't waste time with bullshit doctors. I found all this out on my own with some help from acne.org members. The doctors were like a bunch of speed bumps. The naturopath would have probably helped, but I couldn't afford it and I could do that on my own (much harder than with a naturopath).

P.S.

Your acne appears to be clearing so either your hormones are stabilizing and acne's no longer a side effect of the underlying condition, or the underlying condition is getting better.

Good for you and good luck!

I think I big part of it is that I haven't picked at my face now for four days. I usually destroy my facial skin at least once per day but I've been trying really hard to stop and that might be part of why my acne seems to be getting better right now.
