Heading In A Different Direction.

After the most recent commutation with my much adored dermatologist, I have decided to slowly step back from the topicals and try a different approach. I met with a skin professional near where I live and we spent a good chunk of time talking about my skin, diet and lifestyle. She looked over my skin, went over my regimen and then offered her input.

Basically, I am going to try gentle facials with extraction and incorporate a gentle cleansing, toning, moisturizing and sunscreen routine with no actives to calm my skills down (eczema wise, not acne wise) for about two weeks. We will then try to incorporate some actives other than BP. If my skin is not getting too irritated, I will do a facial every two weeks.

I am very skeptical in this doing much especially since BP is out but me burning the crap out of my skin with differin is not working. At least if I can get my skin somewhat hydrated, I may be able to revisit a retinoid.

I am rereading my clear skin diet book for some help in that area and I will start green smoothies again today. Added 6 new pimples too my treasure trove today so you can see what a bang up job aczone is doing. I need to give my skin a week off before my appt so I will stop all topicals on Wednesday.

Hi, I am not qualified to say if that is a good or safe combo. Please consult a dermatologist. If it is in an already prepared mixture such as epiduo, give it a try.
