I don't know how long I've been doing my regimen now, I stopped keeping track. Acnessentials clogs my pores, but I find without niacinamide my skin is oily. I had my testosterone levels tested and will see my doctor next week to get results. This was my psychiatrist that suggested I have that tested if I am possible PCOS, not my actual family doctor. I am disappointed my family doctor doesn't do anything unless I ask for it.
I think I'm going to try to move my derm appointment to sooner because I think I need to go on some sort of BC pill. As much as I hate it, I would rather do that to keep my hormones under control because during ovulation I either get crazy acne or fall into a deep depression.
I had a really bad eating month in April. My diet was just horrible and I'm paying the price now. Eating low carb is no easy feat for me. I'm going to try to get back on track with that.
I picked bad the other night and now have three huge red spots around my mouth that will take some time to heal. I was stupid and shouldn't've done that. Lesson learned.
I'm going to use BP for a little bit until my skin is back under control. It'll just give me an extra boost. I need to be in damage control mode now.
On a positive note, I used a fuller's earth clay mask this morning and it worked wonders for the blackheads around and on my nose. It also leaves my skin feeling and looking smoother.
