Just a quick update. been grooving on the FCLO (fermented cod liver oil) zinc pincolinate, 2x daily spearmint tea and 1x daily green tea for about a month now. also been using tazorac for about a month.
was doing wonderfully until about a week ago...i'm thinking combo of really gnarly eating (we're talking ice cream and doritos for dinner) stress, PMS, and getting my hair done (the salon products always seem to end up on my face) etc have been tripping me up, plus some initial breakout from the taz. some of it is great--I can see plugs of crap popping out of my skin! but i've also just been straight-up breaking out plenty and have had one really awful scarring cyst on my cheek
i've just found healthy eating REALLY difficult. there is always candy and cookies being given out at work and my partner really likes to eat junk. It is also really cold where i live and heating is expensive which makes it hard to force yourself to eat salads and green smoothies over a comforting hot meal. I'm hoping with summer coming things might get easier. It's not helped by the fact that I've always been thin and don't need to restrict my eating very much to control my weight. I"m terrified of getting diabetes and cancer from my less than stellar diet though so I really need to shape up.
Anyone with any tips on eating healthy...speak up!
