So on top of using natural skin care products for my acne, I have also been taking supplements. According to posts on AcneEinstein, people with acne have lower levels of zinc. They also are more prone to oxidative damage to the sebum, which causes acne. So, approximately 15 days ago I started taking a zinc, antioxidant and vitamin E supplement on top of my daily "multivitamins". Its too early to notice any changes yet. I'm not expecting to see miracles after only 15 days. Even if they don't help my acne, they certainly help with other things, like preventing heart disease. So it doesn't hurt to try is basically what I'm trying to say lol.
