hey guys just wanted to log my experience with tretinoin and other acne stuff so i can get this shit out of my system and also so that if ever this works for me or anything at all works for me, people can see it and try it
i'd describe my acne as mild to moderate. i get cysts but not the nodular kind or the gargantuan type.
-dickinson's witch hazel extract
-jojoba oil with celeteque moisturizer
-sunblock spf 40
-wait 30 minutes for my face to dry then apply tretinoin 0.05 %
-wait 30 minutes then apply moisturizer with jojoba oil
i'm on week 12 and i can see that it does heal hyperpigmentation and kill pimples fast (specially the big ones - they go away in 2-3 days) but i'm still breaking out. my pimples are mostly on my cheeks and my forehead. mostly papules and 5 mildly inflamed whiteheads. and my skin is super oily now. before starting this, my face was normal but now it's really oily. i don't know if it's because of tretinoin or my androgens going crazy.
shit i'm taking with tretinoin:
i've read how vitamins can help with acne and oily skin so i've been taking vitamin D3 for a week and vitamin A and zinc for 2 days now. i can definitely say that my pimples aren't as inflamed as before but my skin is still oily and i still break out.
hope tretinoin and these vitamins work for me. will update soon. i wish all the best for us.
AND REMEMBER THAT ACNE OR NO ACNE YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL AND BEAUTY IS OVERRATED ANYWAY IT'S NOT THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN THE WORLD. I'M PRETTY SURE IT'S LOVE OR KINDNESS OR WHATEVER.
feel free to ask questions or suggest stuff (like how i can manage my oiliness
