Day 6

JolieJulie

The skin looks better a little bit. Tried Jojoba oil on it...and it became reddish (think, it's normal and it has nothing to do with the oil as it's just the irritation..poor skin) Today looked at myself in the mirror..it wasn't worth of it at all. Spots stayed as they were (maybe less visible BUT only because I’d burnt the skin all over the face) What else..it is flaky (salicylic acid made its job) and tired from all of my experiments. Looking for a beautician meanwhile…Professional help’s required now). Surfing on the internet and doing my own research about the professional cosmetics. Here we go…

There are several brands that are well-known, like:

Dermalogica

Elemis

Guinot

Environ

Anna Lotan

Thalgo

Crystal Clear

If you tried any of them, I’ll be happy to know your opinions and impressions. I personally would like to try each of them (don't know if it's possible and if it's good for the skin as too much stuff on the skin will not make any good, I guess), talk to a cosmetologist first to find out which of them suits me most.

I'm curious to know)) You have to tell about the effect after. I'm waiting! I've tried a few of those: Dermalogica (it's very popular and you can find it almost everywhere now) and Thalgo. But it didn't bring me the desired result, tbh. In fact, I just wasted money and time because the problem was back as soon as I'd stopped doing facials. Well, maybe it will work in your case.

See a dermatologist perhaps? I think if you get on some serious acne meds you will clear up in a matter of weeks/months or years. Sometimes it takes awhile to find medications that work for you. I take hormonal pills-spironolactone and Ortho Tri-Cyclen and cephalexin antibiotic. Add to that tretinoin and benzaclin as topical medication that I rub into my face. I stopped breaking out three years ago just from using amoxicillin and cephalexin. Now My skin is staying clear with the hormonal treatments.Your profile is quite secretive. Can you reveal your ASL?

I'm very curious to know about your impressions from these brands. I am using one of those already. Would love to know what people say about it. But it's sure that if you want to get the result, you should ask for a professional help from a competent specialist and therefore, use professional cosmetics.

I'm happy that finally someone's talking about Anna Lotan. When I first came to the Uk, I was so surprised that people have no idea about it, though it's rather popular in Poland (where I'm from). It's not just nice. The formulations are unique. Take a look at the ingredients (all this info is free on the internet on the official site) and make your own conclusions. I've never been a big fan of mass market brands... So, my adviсe: don't waste money on the things which only reduce your acne, invest money into something that will bring you a reward.
