Day 13

Wow. The improvement from 4 days ago. It might not look it from these photos because my face is still red, but no new pimples today! I am thinking that maybe it has started to improve because my period ended and I began my new cycle of birth control. I guess I wont find out until next month, but for now I am content.

I feel like this is too good to be true. Everyone else I have talked to didn't start to see improvements this early. I am almost certain that this means my dermatologist will up my dosage. Not necessarily a bad thing. I want to only have to go through this one time. So if I am going to do it I mine as well do it right the first time.

I live in Florida which in may means 95 and humid. This is good because my face is not drying out like it would in the winter, however after 5 minutes outside my face has melted off and I feel the need to take a shower. It is impossible to look 'fresh' while on accutane, I guess this is something I am going to have to accept.

Lips still very tight and dry. Not cracked or bleeding. Scalp is super itchy. It is driving me crazy! Also, ladies, is it risky to get my hair highlighted? I am worried about it falling out.

Products:

Neutrogena fresh foaming cleanser

Waxelene (for my lips)

* I hear it works wonders for skin as well (at night). I just can't stand the greasy feeling on my face

Ponds dry skin cream/ rich hydrating facial moisturizer ( morning)

Aveeno positively radiant intensive night cream (before bed)
