8 days since my last update. I decided to switch back to cleansing with the Cetaphil antibacterial bar. Well, my face looked to be getting better, but yesterday things got pretty bad.
I bought a new foundation last week, the Revlon Colorstay, and wow do I feel like I've made a mistake. Not only is it not my color, but this foundation is sooo thick I can't even get it out of the bottle!! I have to dip my finger in it to get any product out, and then when I put it on my face it cakes up and emphases my dry spots and scabs and ugh I just don't want to use it anymore. I do know you should blend quickly because it dries pretty fast, and that because it's so thick you don't have to use much, I know. I even use a damp sponge, but it still doesn't look right.
Anyways, I still felt really uncomfortable going to school with my face bare, so I just went back to my Revlon Nearly Naked foundation. It's not amazing, but it is lighter than the Colorstay, and gives me some coverage.
So that's what I've been using for the past couple of days, and I'm wondering if that may be what's caused my bad breakout. I mean, I was already badly broken out, but like I said it seemed to be getting better, and then it wasn't
The good thing is that I'm on Spring Break right now, and since I'm planning on spending 90% of it at home, there really is no need to put on any foundation
It's been really tough. Not only in the way it affects my self-esteem, but I mean I'll be in class and my face gets really itchy, and I try not to scratch, but I can't help it, and then suddenly I'm bleeding. Worse is when I'm just sitting there and I start feeling these tiny stings (some bacteria destroying going on in my skin?) and it just really hurts.
So, here's the damage.
