Lifestyle Changes I Hope To Make

I have done a lot of research and have compiled a few things that I could change that have helped other people with their acne in the past so I thought I would try to give these things a shot. It won't be easy, but I'm at wit's end with my acne lately. The changes are as follows:

- Drink 2-3 servings of green tea per day. I have been doing this for the past week or so and I did notice improvements at first but due to who knows what, I'm having a bad skin period lately. Anyways, I guess green tea does something or another magical and can really help to improve skin tone.

- Having a healthy "caveman" type of diet. This is where you don't eat anything the cavemen couldn't have eaten. AKA no processed foods, no candy, etc. This diet would include fruits and veggies, lean meats, that sort of thing.

- Exercise regularly. THIS. This is going to be the hardest for me. Not only because I have a super busy schedule between work and college and having a boyfriend and homework and and and! But also because I've NEVER had any sort of regular exercise or been super involved in any sports. And I'm just lazy. But exercising is supposed to increase circulation and sort of sweat the toxins out of your body, just be sure to wash your face and body immediately afterwards.

- When I wash my makeup off, to wash it twice. I always just did a quick one pump, scrub-a-dub kind of job without really taking the time to ensure that my skin was clean. Then I would go to bed and I probably still have leftover makeup sitting on my skin all night. Ew! So now, I'm going to wash it like I used to, but THEN, I'm going to take another pump and wash it again and be very gentle but thorough.

These things should hopefully have some sort of positive effect on my skin (maybe not drastic) but every little improvement helps, am I right?

I hope this CHANGE OF LIFE STYLE will work for you.:) How can you not exercise though? Like cereal, exercising is my way of controlling everything!! (My thoughts, my body,my way of changing my perspective on life) It's like freedom for the brain. Just get away with everything and focus on controlling the pain you feel. Especially with running! I run and listen to full Blast in the head phones, and you feel like you're getting tired, but the music keeps you moving and to ME it takes like the "pain" away! You know what i mean?!?! I'm glad you do. I just wish you the BEST OF everything! :o)

Thank you so much I so badly want to feel the same way about exercising that you do! I have tried to get into a routine and it's just so tough. I think part of it is because I'm naturally thin and so I'm not motivated to do it that much, like its not necessarily something I HAVE to do. However, maybe with bettering my acne as a motivator, I will do better! Good luck to you too!

It's even better that you're naturally thin!! Just work on like simple things that will change something with acne. Like go walking for like 2-3 miles, or hiking, or do Pilates. That kind of stuff is like SUPER easy. You can even stretch. Stretching makes your blood circulate better, and sometimes when you can't fall asleep, just stretch out your legs, or put them on the wall and REACHHH, and it will circulate your blood and make you fall asleep! (i know your a busy person, so there's like no possibility for you NOT to fall asleep) but anyway, if your not really motivated to exercise, then just do simple stuff.
