Starting The Regimen!

Beauty&Blemishes

Ok, so I told you all I ordered the free starter kit of the regimen, right? RIGHT! So I received my package. I'm soooo nervous to start the regimen.

You all tell me, is there anything I should know before starting the regimen? I've read that flakiness & dryness is expected. Anything else? Does it burn? Will I breakout more? Tell me all about it!!!

For the first week or so, I'm going to use the regimen only on 1 side of my face. Simply because my skin is extremely sensitive & I don't want to deal with another massive breakout or reaction!

Sooo yea! I'll keep you all updated!

I think a benzoyl peroxide regimen is a good place to start an acne regimen. No initial breakout so your skin will definitely not get worse. It does take a while for your skin to adjust to the dryness however. I use benzoyl peroxide in my regimen and it is priceless. You will notice some peeling of your skin when you wash it and some redness after that. Rub the dead skin off while you massage the cleanser into your skin. I am so excited for you! What a great first step! Definitely keep us posted!

Thank you!! Today I'm feeling different, I don't think I'm going to start the regimen. I really don't want to deal with the flakiness/ dryness. Burning sensations etc. I'm going out to sephora, to look for something milder with less complications. & always steering away from makeup!

However I will keep you all posted!

She's just telling you that you should give it a try. She's not rude. Everyone deals with flakiness/dryness, but you'll find a way to get rid of it. Just like i did. You should TRY! I HIGHLY suggest. The results within 1 month, you won't regret. JUST DO IT! :)

Give it a try!:) Best things happen when you push yourself out of your comfort zone:) The flakiness was not an issue for me and it took 1 week to adjust to stinging. I do not believe regimen will make your skin worse, if anything it will get better very quickly. I waited for 20 years to start accutane which did nothing at the end but, regimen has been keeping me clear for about 1.5 years. By clear I mean I do not need to wear make up. I had moderate to severe acne before. Give it a try, you have nothing to lose and maybe everything to gain!:) Good luck!
