Day 3



I actually woke up this morning and walked to the public bathroom without a hoodie covering my face! This is a huge accomplishment for me. So far, I've been following my new Regimen to the "T". Every morning I use CeraVe facial cleanser and some Acanya gel. At night, after my workout, I use the CeraVe cleanser in the shower and then apply some other gel the derm prescribed me. My forehead is pretty clear except for one red mark. My nose is clear (as usual) but it's kinda dry and flaky for some reason. My chin is also clear. I still have one pimple on my right temple. And I have a weird rash on the right side of my face, which is weird because a week ago I had the same rash on the left side of my face in the same spot. I'm not sure rash is the best way to describe it. It's like a close cluster of three pimples but they aren't raised bumps and they really aren't red. Anyway, besides that, I still have one pimple on my left side. This is probably the smoothest my skin has been in awhile and I haven't gotten any of the usual types of pimples that I get. The only ones I have are decreased in size compared to my past. Honestly now, what I am worried about is getting rid of the scars. They aren't really scars, just red marks. I guess I'm lucky since I don't have any rolling or ice pick scars which are harder to get rid of. But it really stinks when your skin feels so smooth but there are still post acne marks. I'm not quite sure what to do about it. I have extremely fair skin, which supposedly means it will take longer for the red marks to fade. They say to give it time and I will, especially since I can just cover the red marks with concealer, but I'm not sure which approach to take to help the process along.
