It's A God Thing

Hey so if you are a hardcore atheist don't bother getting into an argument with me. Trust me, I used to be just like you. My parents are super religious and I attended private school from pre-k until 7th grade. Then I went back in 10th grade. I've been through a lot in my life, too much to post about here, but the thing is I felt like God abandoned me. When I started breaking out two years ago and nothing worked, I figured just my luck. My mom told me that maybe it was God's way of trying to get my attention. I just shrugged her off. Recently though, after starting back at school and being hospitalized for having a panic attack about my face, I knew I couldn't do it on my own. I gave up. For the first time in YEARS I decided to pray about it and put my acne in God's hands. That alone put most of my stress at ease. Now maybe it's the Lerosett, or the Baby Oil, or the Benzoyl Peroxide finally working, but in the past few weeks I've seen dramatic improvement in my skin. If all continues like it's going, I will probably be completely clear of all acne and scars by the next 2 weeks. 2 weeks is actually pushing it. At this rate, it could be like a week. That sure seems like a miracle to me. Maybe you don't think so but I just wanted to put this out there. Maybe God won't answer your prayers to heal your acne or whatever else you may be going through, but if you surrender and put it in His hands, it's like a burden off your back. My stress and anxiety just melted away. I apologize to anyone if this is offensive. I just wanted to share my story. My hope is that it helps someone. Being stress-free for the first time since I was 11 (and I have been on anti-anxiety meds) is such a wonderful feeling. Plus, they say stress can be a cause of acne. So maybe, just maybe give it a shot. You have nothing to lose :)

God Bless

At the end of the day it's whatever works for you. Medicine, religion, and luck or maybe some weird combination of all of them, who knows. Glad to see things are looking up for you~

P.s. no need to be apologetic. If someone finds your post offensive then they're being extremely closed minded.
