Will To Improve

I'm starting my senior year of high school after summer is over. I have almost two months to become healthy again, whether it's my body or skin. After I figure out and am able to stick to a proper lifestyle routine, I plan on maintaining it once the school year begins.

My goals include improving my skin, losing some weight (goal is 15 pounds), and getting a good sleep schedule worked out. Of course, I have other, non-health-related goals, such as college applications, essays, research, and studying for the last of my standardized testing, but I will not go into detail about that.

This is simply a self-motivation blog, nothing more. I will be pleased with myself already if I manage to continue logging my activities.

Current skin routine:

Morning - Neutrogena Ultra Gentle Daily Cleanser, Neutrogena Alcohol-Free Toner, Lancome Eye Cream (for preventative measures), Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisturizer with SPF 15 (depending on if I'm going out that day. If not, I don't typically moisturize after toning), Coppertone Sunscreen for Sensitive Skin SPF 50 (again, I'll use this if I'm going out that day for a long time under the sun; I live in Texas)

Night - Neutrogena Ultra Gentle Daily Cleanser, Lancome Eye Cream, 0.005% Retin-A Cream

For me, a big problem is hyperpigmentation caused from acne, and I think part of that had to do with me constantly touching my face. One of my goals is to stop touching my face altogether.

I also have the AcneFree Clay Mask for the occasional cyst and for treating blackheads.

Current weight: 125-127; Goal Weight: 110-ish (Height: 5'5")

I need to drink a lot more water and basically not overeat.

I'll try to log my progress each day...

I totally get you on the drinking more water! Don't be so hard on yourself about the weight though. The average weight for 5'5 is between 117 and 130. :)
