Face Care While On Accutane And Makeup!

One of the hardest things for me while going onto Accutane was going from treating oily, shiny, acne prone skin to having to treat dry skin. I've never had to use products for dry skin before and I didn't know what to buy or where to start. Here's my routine of what I do while on Accutane. I hope this helps you!

Morning: Wash face with Burt's Bees moisturizing Cream Cleanser ($9) Wash hair with Aussies awesome volume ($4) and Aussie Moist 3 minute miracle ($4)

Makeup: Apply CeraVe moisturizing lotion all over face and neck

Use Revlon Colorstay liquid foundation for Combination/ Oily skin

Use E.L.F high definition powder in clear

(I use my hands to apply the foundation and a all over face brush to apply a thin layer of power over my T-zone or areas that still get shiny)

At night: remove makeup with Cetaphil gentle skin cleanser for all skin types

Then use Burt's Bees moisturizing cream cleanser

Apply cetaphil moisturizing cream for dry sensitive skin to face and neck

On lips I use Aquaphor at night and during the day I use Aquaphor lip treatment

For body lotion I use Cetaphil Daily Advance Lotion for dry sensitive skin.

I'd love to know how to keep my skin supple.

Mornings I was my face with Cetaphil gentle skin cleanser for dry skin (I think..), and use Cetaphil moisturizing creme (tub). I use Everyday Minerals mineral makeup (purchased online). I've been using it for 7 or 8 years. It doesn't dry out my skin, blends in real nice, has good staying power, and looks very natural.

Night time, I wash my face with a gentle skin gel cleanser from AHAVA (purchased online), and use cetaphil moisturizing creme. Sometimes I'll use aquaphor on dry spots.

Is the burts bees cleanser any good? Does it take makeup off?

I do the same thing with aquaphor and I'm not sure if the Burt's bees really moisturizes skin more than a gentle skin cleanser but it does better at taking off makeup than any other skin cleanser I've bought! I'm also searching for a moisturizing face mask right now because I think that would probably help a lot. I'm also going to research how to make my own!
