Hey there!! I used to do the same thing you do. After I stopped birth control my acne was OUT OF CONTROL! All down my neck. I was ashamed to be in public. What I started to do is in the morning was wash my face with Neutrogena T-Gel as it has a higher concentration of Salicylic Acid. I let it sit on my face while I washed my hair and body. Once I got out of the shower I immediately put on Neutrogena's 2 in 1 Fight & Fade Toner with a cotton square. Then I use Hydrogen Peroxide as a toner again with a cotton square. Then I put on Murad 1.0% Exfoliating Acne Treatment Gel. FOLLOW UP WITH A GOOD MOISTURIZER!! (Remember this is my morning routine as you can cover it up with makeup) I use Mary Kay TimeWise for dry skin but whatever works for you. As far as immediately treating the lip, use Benzoyl Peroxide at night after you wash your face (I use Bliss Fabulously Foaming Face Wash) and use the Fight and Fade Toner and Hydrogen Peroxide BEFORE the BP. This has been the BEST regimen for my face. Also sometimes if a pimple is really bad I put a bandaid on it after I put the BP on it to keep it rubbing off at night. Just as a side note, my acne scars have been fading SO fast with this regimen. I am a huge believer of Salicylic Acid in the morning so I can wear makeup and BP at night. I would just use a gentler face wash at night such as the example I gave you. You can find it at Sephora and the little bottle lasts forever! Good luck!!

I know, it's soo tempting. Just remember that there's a large chance that it might scar - and no one wants that. That's the only way I can convince myself not to pick.
