6 Months-Ish On Regimen

So it's been like 842849004309 days since I last posted but here's an update on my skin. It's been about six months since the start of using acne.org products, and I have to say it did work. Somewhat. After I ran out of my Regimen kit, I went out and bought the Cetaphil moisturizer and cleanser. Moisturizer was okay, cleanser was just way TOO gentle! It didn't get rid of any of my oil or makeup and I had to wash my face several times. I'm now using Neutrogena Rapid Clear Oil-Eliminating Foaming Cleanser. I love this cleanser! It gets all my makeup off in one shot. However, I would probably suggest sticking to the Regimen cleanser or Cetaphil until your face is free of active acne. The Regimen DID allow me to now have acne-free skin. HOWEVER, because of the "purging" process that is mentioned in several blog posts (basically where you break out like absolute mad in the beginning of the Regimen) I've been left with two cheeks filled with rolling and boxcar scars and serious hyperpigmentation. I do get the occasional zit still here and there, usually around when I'm going to get my period. For the most part, though, my skin is free of active acne. I only use the benzoyl peroxide once a day at night now, after I take a shower. I also don't use as much as Dan suggests. After I ran out of the Regimen treatment, I bought Neutrogena's On-The-Spot Acne Treatment, but this thing is TINY and expensive. It also doesn't glide on like the Regimen treatment does. I've ordered two more of the treatment online, and I think it's a way better bang for your buck. It lasted a really long time. I've been using Obagi (4% Hydroquinone) for my hyperpigmentation, but I don't really see too much of an impact. My face just looks really white now. If you guys have any thoughts/experiences with effective hyperpigmentation or scarring treatment, I would love to know! I've added some pictures of what my skin looks like now. Compared to my previous pictures, this in itself is probably a miracle. blogentry-173652-0-78405600-1349682812_t left cheek

In this case Hydroquinone is useless, Hydroquinone is used to lighten the dark/brown mark not the red ones, once you stop the bp the marks will fade with time, if you want to speed up the procces go on AHA/BHA with Retin-a.
