11 Week Bactrim Update

I'll keep this reasonably short as there isnt much to report.

From the last update the oral thrush is gone, maybe a slight case has come back but there are no real symptons to confirm.

My skin is doing slighly better but after 11 weeks on this you'd expect results. Theres good days and bad days but overall the improvement is slight. Forehead doesnt break out much anymore but the side of my face and jawline still do. Especially my problem area on the right side of my jaw, atleast one new one a week and together with the scarring from previous breakouts it looks more moderate than mild.

I see the derm in just over a month, 5 weeks to be exact, and if not much else changes I dont think i want to stay on Bactrim.

Amoxicillin and cephalexin work really well in my experience. That is why I named myself amoxilworx. I have tried erythryomycin, tetracycline, minocycline, and doxycycline hyclate. None of them worked. Due to my taking large doses of Amoxil my cystic acne is gone! I get two pimples a month now. Compared to about 50 before I started Amoxil. I used to have cysts all over my chin and cheeks. It was awful. I also use topical meds like Retin-A and Benzaclin. If you read my regimen, it may seem like overkill but I had a massive infection I needed to clear out and it worked. Because my skin is now healthy enough, my dermatologist said I am not a candidate for accutane. I took that as a huge vote of confidence!
