First Week Of Tazorac

So, I've managed the acne on my face I don't have any pimples but they show up once in a while. However, my back acne has not been under control because I get lazy and I don't wash it twice, toner it, put bp on it twice a day like I use to I just do it whenever I shower.

So anyway I went to the dermatologist and she said I have comedones and papules and scars on my back. Those dang comedones don't move! I feel like they've been there for years!

So it's been a week of tazorac gel application on my back and this is what i'm experiencing: Sensitive skin, peeling and irritation! Alot of irritation because since its my back I have my shirt on and lean on things when I sit and when I sleep its pretty uncomfortable. My back has also broke out ten fold many papules but I'm hoping this is just the process and it will get better soon because its summer and I want to wear summer clothes! I'll try to upload pictures soon. Hopefully this gets better.

I just went on Tazorac for my face two days ago. I got off of epiduo. What percent is your tazorac? 0.05 or 0.1?

I think you need a course of Amoxil or Keflex. Check it out with your derm, Also try a benzoyl peroxide body wash. Brevoxil or something...Good luck. You are too beautiful to cover up all the time

I am on .1 Tazorac gel. I just put it on my back and I found that its less painful if I just keep my shirt off and let it absorb in my skin for a while.

What does Amoxil or Keflex do? I've tried benzol body washes they just dry out my skin.
