OH, dreaded acne. Out of all the curveballs that can be thrown at a teenager/young adult, acne is one of the top stressful things we have to deal with. Not only is it stressful, it messes with your self confidence. It doesn't help that I'm pretty pale and when I have pimples, it almost looks like pulsating, red marks on my face.

To be honest, I have veryyyy mild acne. Currently, I have three pimples and hyperpigmentation/acne scars. My sister has it much worse, and I wish I could help her because she doesn't deserve this added stress, especially since she's going off to law school. But, even with her acne, it doesn't seem to get her down too much (unless my mom makes a "face") and yet, here I am, with very little acne, complaining and groaning. Why am I so superficial?

Well, I had perfect, FLAWLESS skin until I hit 19 years old. I got one pimple every 2 months maybe, but it was a pimple, not a cyst. People would always compliment me on my skin and how radiant it is. Even now, my complexion is really nice, but the pimples are unavoidable. During school, I had probably 10 pimples on my face and I got so self conscious, I would put makeup on and not turn on the bathroom lights because I didn't want to see my face. I prided myself with my beautiful skin, and now that's gone, to me, I feel like I have no other good qualities.

I just wish to have the skin I had before (don't we all?) and I've tried so many things, but to no avail.

I'm going to try a new regime and hopefully it is going to work.

1. Wash face with CeraVe hydrating cleanser

2. Neutrogena sunblock moisturizer if putting makeup on/going out, Jojoba oil if staying at home.

3. Put makeup on.

1. Wash face with CeraVe hydrating cleanser

2. Yogurt mask with lemon

3. Jojoba oil.

1. Fish oil

2. Vitamin E

3. Calcium

4. Vitamin C

I don't want to do TOO much, like toner (did ACV but it didn't help... Did it for a month and didn't see results. I guess it dried up my pimples, but my acne left scars everywhere) and other stuff. I'm trying to stick to the natural stuff.

Twice a week, I want to exfoliate my face with olive oil and brown sugar.

It's summer now, and my acne went down a lot because of either lack of stress and more sleep (DEF), or because I've been doing yogurt masks. Probably both.

It's just weird because my pimples only form on one side of my face. I should just grow out my bangs and cover that side of my face, goth-style.
