Diet is the key to beating acne. The best way is to develop a three part diet. Good carbs, protein, and fats are needed. Healthy sources of carbs are fruits, vegetables, brown or wild rice, quinoa, millet, sweet potatoes (Can be starchy so be careful not too much). Protein: grass fed meat and chicken, cage-free eggs, walnuts (should be raw and soaked after bought), turkey (no nitrites). Fats: coconut oil, extra virgin olive oil, flax seed, walnuts. Meals can be made in so many different ways with just using these foods. These foods aren't the only ones out there, there are so many more.
