I bought Ponds cleansing towlettes and they work beautifully! They take off ALL my makeup with one towlette. The only thing I don't like is having to apply pressure onto my face and wiping. I'd rather be more gentle but this is the best way I've found to get the makeup off. I then follow with ponds cleanser. I've used my new 30% sal acid peel and it is quite strong. Burns like crazy for about 30 seconds then all pain vanishes. I left it on for only 3 minutes first time then second time, since there was no more pain, I didn't rinse at all. Well, my skin is rather dry now. Patchy, as the skin around each and every pimple (even ones I didn't know I had) is peeling. I'm not sure if that's good or not.
I have un-filled prescriptions for Benzaclin from my last derm appointment and my mom went ahead and filled them. I'll get that this weekend, just to see if it helps as I'm waiting for my antibiotics. My face has broken out into some small pimples around my other pimples. This is nearly solely because I picked and squeazed the original pimples, they'v festered of course. I'm just trying not to look in the mirror but it's hard. And all my red marks are hard too but thankfully I know a great product for red marks which I will buy once again when I'm on antibiotics and clear. It clears up red marks fast. I can't remember the name off the top of my head but I'll post it once I start using it again. Until then I'm just using baking soda, honey, and chemical peels. I hate my skin being patchy and dry but with a chemical peel, what else could I expect? i just hope it is working.
So update: small breakout from picking and popping. will be getting benzaclin this weekend. Skin is currently dry and flaky
