Seeing Progress

I'm feeling ambivalent about this regimen. This morning, I was feeling on top of the world. I'm seeing improvement; way less pimples, still lots of scarring. So, I didn't wear make up today.

Bad choice.

I work with people who really have no filter. So repeatedly today I heard, "What's that on your face?" and, "What're those pimples on your face?" I love my clients, but they can really put me in the dumps sometimes. So, alas, tomorrow I will put on my make up again.

It sucks that you have to hear comments like that. It would be hypocritical of me to tell you to simply rise above it because I know that hearing things like that really puts me down.

Especially if you might be feeling insecure about going without makeup, that would be the last thing you'd want to hear. I really wish people would think about what they're saying and consider the feelings of others, it's not nice that they should respond that way.

Don't let it put you off going without makeup if you feel doing so will help improve your skin, and certainly don't let them put you off sticking with the regiment. Perhaps along the way you'll have a few bad moments as your skin adjusts, but things will get better and there's every chance it will do the trick for you. Then eventually, those people will have nothing but compliments and you'll know that it will have all been down to the work you put in. Keep going! :)
