2nd package of Diane35, Saturday August 20th.

Status of Acne: Some of the inflamed pimples are drying up - couple new ones have popped up but that is my fault for picking and irritating my skin. Cheeks and forehead is completely clear, but that is nothing new.

Progress: Still no oily skin, not sure if Diane35 is doing anything or if it is my face wash. Face seems to be getting better.

Acne: Moderate.

Okay great improvement from yesterday, but I don't think that is because of my Diane35 pills. My face will have a massive breakout and I will slowly clear out the breakout with oxy face wash and oxy lotion. it will clear up but right when it starts clearing up my face will have a new breakout. So far there has been no new breakouts, hoping it will stay that way. My face is still not oily at all, which is nice. I kind of want to try Dan's acne regimen but since my face is becoming less oily I am afraid the regimen is going to dry out my face so badly, so I think I am going to hold off for a while. I don't have too much high hopes right now however, because a lot of reviews and individuals have said Diane35 doesn't start to show results until after the 3rd month. When I used Doxycycline my face didn't start to show noticeable results until after about the 2nd or 3rd month, but it was completely and totally worth it. I am going to wait this out and wish the best. I've noticed I have had a huge decrease in appetite, I don't want to eat anything ever and when I do eat I feel sick to my stomach. It's not necessarily a bad thing, because that means I won't gain weight like a lot of people on Diane35 did.

I'm trying to stay positive but my acne is causing a deep depression on me. I've never been a patient person. I always want a fast fix. I have one month down & 2 more to go until I will hopefully see results. I just need to be patient. I can do this. I guess in some ways I am afraid my boyfriend won't find me as beautiful. My face was finally clear and I felt on top of the world. I was getting to the point where I didn't even have to wear hardly any makeup anymore, and it felt amazing. I really really wish I knew doxycycline would stop working after a while. If I knew this I would have started a new medication. :) Oh well, so far I see some improvement. Don't fail me Diane35!

If anyone reading this has been on Diane35, and has experienced good results on clearing your skin please let me know! I'd love to hear some success stories to help lift my spirits.

I had been on Diane-35 for 5 years and it kept my skin gorgeously clear during that time. I never gained weight, or had any negative side effects. I was off Diane-35 for two years and I did not breakout for the first 18 months off the pill. I had an increase in breakouts starting April 2011 but I think this had to do with my Accutane from 2004 wearing off. My Dermatologist told me that if I remained on Diane 35 and Vitamin A cream - I would have remained clear. I started Diane-35 again and I am into my fourth month, along with Week 8 of Accutane. It is working. It works, but it takes time.

Thank you so much for the comment! How severe would you say your acne was, or is? Mine usually isn't bad, but ever since taking Diane35 its started to breakout much more then usual, just over the weekend actually. I am almost done month 2, and I think its getting better.

I would say that my acne was mild to moderate starting April this year before that my skin was clear. I am on month 5 of Diane 35 and week 13 of 20 in my Accutane treatment and I have currently have clear skin. Hang in there.
