the beginning.

Here's my story.... growing up my skin was fine. my nickname given to me from my mom was "peaches" due to my skin. sure, I had the occasional pimple during High School, but nothing drastic. [Enter college here....] my skin went absolutely crazy. I was breaking out and I didn't know what to do. It got so bad I decided to start Accutane. I was on it for 8 months [of hell] but it worked! I was completely clear and off Accutane starting in July 2010. I stayed amazingly clear until about April 2011 when I moved from a dry climate to the East Coast humidity. My skin was screwed. I was SO frustrated. I started trying product after product with no success. The only time my face seemed to clear up was for a few days when humidity lessened. That was my answer, I knew then my face was acting up due to the humidity. However, I also knew that I would be living in this humid climate for a long long time. I needed to find a way to work around these breakouts. [Enter DKR here...] I started the Regimen just 3 days ago. It was going fine, no big complaints. Until yesterday... I went to the beach for an hour or so, lathered in sunscreen.... when BAM! I got moderately burned (darn you heat wave!) Well now doing DKR is burning my face and it's very very painful. I woke up this morning to swollen eyes and cheeks. awesome. I am unsure if this is an allergic reaction or a side effect from my sun exposure. I can already feel today being a loooong day with my face looking like a blue berry....

I hope this passes and I can get my clear skin back with the Regimen. I hope when my bottles are empty and if my skin is cleared to go back to a gentle regimen routine. We'll see...

here's the beginning of my journey.
