couple years ago when my face went to only a few pimples to more moderate acne i used acne.org for information and started to use Dan's BP which I am still using today. ive always still been battling with acne and scars but it was under control until NOW.

this year my face has started to get worse and just last week I went on a roadtrip with a few friends and when I came back home my face was FILLED with whiteheads all over. all over the cheeks, jawline..everywhere but the forehead pretty much. i really dont know what happened. was it the heat/humity, the new cream i was using, the foundation brush I shouldve been cleaning, the long 16 hour days without washing my face. i do not know.

im so depressed im avoiding all my friends and blowing them off by saying i have other plans or im busy. i do have work so i have to go but ive been avoiding as much eye contact and close contact as much as possible. i honestly just feel like killing myself for having such skin.

i contemplating going on accutane since ppl always have good results with it. i know acne would come back but i really need it NOW. i need my face to be healed NOW.

i decided to start this blog here because I feel ppl here understand

I'm not a Dermatologist and I'm not a skin care specialist. I'm an 18-year-old with acne just like you. I am in a situation similar to yours. I know what it's like to blow off friends because you think your face looks bad- I have done that multiple times. The ONLY comfort I can find in these situations is that my friends like me for who I am, not for what I look like or what I don't look like. And sometimes when I am having fun with them, I seem to lose track of the red spots on my face that scream at me every time I look in the mirror. So I think hanging out with friends that truly like you may be a positive thing, even if you have broken out. And if it makes you feel better, there are lots of people that are in your situation, like, well... ME!Hope this somehow helps

hey!really appreciate your comment and sympathyi know my friends wont judge me for how i look but its just a personal thing i cant get thru myself. im quite the perfectionist and all about looking good. it jsut totally brings the esteem level down.but i do try to have a better outlook and positivity. im actually starting to try and do a liver cleanse. so im being hopeful and a bit more happy.
