Day 153 - HELP!!! MY HAIR!

I have been noticing that my hair has been falling out more and more since I hit month 5 of my treatment...But last night I was washing my hair and blowdrying it and chunks of hair were falling out!!!! I'm really debating if I should continue with my treatment now???!!

My hair is one thing I WILL NOT SACRAFICE for clear skin! I could deal with all the other side effects but I draw the line with my hair!

Does anyone have any suggestions before I call my derm and wave my the white towel???

Good thing is my skin continues to stay clear....

change shampoos or conditioners... before I started treatment I was very stress with grad school so my hair started falling out.. I was then using head and shoulders (I've been using that shampoo for over 10 years)... then I changed shampoos to a more gentle one.... now I don't even need shampoo LOLbut try that.... don't give up... believe me no matter how much hair I was loosing I still have a lot....

Hi! it also helps to give your hair nutrients in a more direct way to help it stay strong despite all the stress it is under. I have a protein treatment that I do once a week at home. its 2 eggs yolks, 2 table spoons of olive oil and mayonnaise. Mix these together then put the mix in ur hair. Wear a cap and keep it in for an hour and then wash as usual with gentle shampoo and moisturising conditioner designed for dry hair. Your hair will be well nourished and better able to cope with the stress of the skin treatment.
