HELP ME!

LISTEN

Hi, I'm new to this site. I suffer from these weird goose-bump like BUMPS on my skin. They aren't acne, they don't have pus, but they are there. I have a dark red scar that is SMACK DAB on the middle of my nose. And I can't afford SURGERY or anything. Poor me. I am depressed from my appearance. No, not "Oh, I'm so EMO and DEPRESSED and COOL," because it's not like that. I hate looking in mirrors. I constantly look at girls with perfect skin and BOIL with envy. I HATE how I look. I look so.. UGLY. And my skin is blotchy. Of course, acne just ISN'T ENOUGH. Anyways. Onto my habits. I eat OKAY. Maybe a bit more junky than I should but whatever, so don't post a comment like "Eat healthier, it'll clear up," because if you do I'll hate you forever. Kidding  But please don't. I sort of exercise. I run around. Every night I clean my skin with hot water and liquid soap. (After a shower) I don't know why my acne is so horrible. I need a fast solution to ALL of this as soon as possible. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Everyone here obviously has problems with their skin...and most of us have been seeing dermatologists for years to try and figure out how to fix our skin. No one can give you something that's 100% sure to work, or even something that will work at all. I assume you're a teenager.....b/c the way you type =P The first thing you should do is go to a doctor :- it doesn't have to be some specialized dermatologist or anything like that, just a regular nurse practitioner to give you a prescription for an antibiotic that they think will help with your skin. I seriously doubt the anti biotic will clear you up 100% but if it works for you, you should be seeing results within 2 weeks, and about an 80% improvement on your skin. Next would be picking out the products you should use on your face which no one here can tell you all exactly what you need. I myself am allergic to benzoyl peroxide, which is what you'll see in basically every acne treatment (proactiv, the regimen here on acne.org, millions of over the counter products). It all depends on if you can afford the product, is your skin type oily, dry, normal, combination, ect ect. If you want to use all natural products, if your parents will order you the products you need, the list can go on and go. Things that work for some people don't work for others as I'm sure you've noticed. This process is going to take alot of time and patience, you can't just come on here and expect a cure, and I know you're frustrated, we all are. It's great you exercise and eat right, and that helps but you have to do more for your skin. As far as washing your face, it's important to keep it clean and wash off the oil about 1-3 times a day, but your soap could be irritating your face, and no matter how clean you get your face your body will keep producing the oil that is causes your acne. As I said it's a long process, and its important to not get frustrated and anxious about getting a new product and stuff because some times they just don't work for you. Don't sit at home for a week doing nothing until you get an appointment with your doctor. Not every antiboitic will work for you either, the first pill i took made me throw up every morning and never helped my skin. The second one was amazing and cleared it up very well (but i became tolerant of it and it stopped after 2 months). So it's a long road, but don't be sad about it, and don't let it control you. Something you could do soon and something you don't have to wait for would be to make a new post, and describe your self (age/race/gender) and your type of skin. People with similar skin may be able to give you suggestions since you really told no one about your skin which is why you'll see that a million people have viewed your post but no one gave you advice =P I hope this helped you :doubt:
