I realise that taking care of my skin and getting it to a standard that I'm happy with takes up quite a lot of time.
I've spent hours trawling the internet for information on what type of cosmetics to use, what cleansers, moisturisers and body washes I should be using.
So far I have tried: Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash. Apparently not so good because it's drying and has facial irritants in it.
I'm also trying AzClear foaming facial cleanser. This is actually quite good and proports to be a antibacterial and also doesn't dry the skin. I also use Dermaveen colloidial oatmeal cleanser and moisturiser. Both are ok for sensitive skins and eczcema sufferers. No bad reactions to them yet.
As for my acne and isotrenotoin side effects - nothing to report. Acne is about the same and no real side effects from the iso. My lips are a little drier than usual, but my skin in fact; i think it's gotten oilier!!
I also went and bought bare escentuals Id mineral powder foundation. Well, well, well. Doesn't that just make my face even super oilier! I look like an oil slick about 10 minutes after application, and although I purchased a yellow based powder, it still looks pink on my face. So, back to the drawing board. The blush I bought though, is actually quite good. It's actually an all over face colour, so i can use it for highlighting. Maybe when my skin improves and gets back to normal i'll give the powder foundation another go.
So, anyhow, no real side effects or good effects as of yet.
