At home Glycolic acid 30%

For the last 3 1/2 weeks ive been using a glycolic acid peel... this is one you do at home.

So ive used it 4 times now ( i do it about every 5-6 days). Ive noticed my skin really looks a lot brighter and im pretty sure my scars are fading quite a lot and im getting less break outs

Its still early days to tell fully how well this works long term, i have another 2 applications for this trial and then I have to have a few weeks off before I can use it again. So I will post back about my progress with this.

Something to mention is.... this isnt like peels you get done professionally, your skin doesnt actually peel off, it just quickens the pace that your skin naturally sheds.

Also, a bottle lasts ages and it is really really cheap to buy online :wall:

Hey!I tried this (glycolic peels) when my acne was moderate (pimples and some nodul-zit) 3 years ago, instead of the damn antibiotic pills (when I gave up taking it, acne always returned) and I have to say that it WORKED. Ok, it won't make your skin smoother as the peeling label's says, don't forget that it peels although you don't notice at first glance, but... break outs and many red spots tend to disappear:) Of course, it depends on the concentration degree of glycolic acid (I think that 30% is very reasonable). I went to a dermatologist and peelings were quite harsh. I also have one of this peelings bought online (from www.skinlaboratory.com and combines lactic acid as well). I use it not so often as you, every 15 days more or less, because I think that skin needs its time to recover. And above all, because too many peelings strip your skin, it's better use oils.By the way, I'm 24 years old too^^! Finally, I wanted to know what are u using to struggle against the scars. My problem is these red marks, always there, that gets darker and never fade away completely. It drives me crazy!

I too have issues with redmarks/scars... theyre a nightmare, sometimes they quite upset me. Friends always say they cant notice them but its all I can see when I look at my face!Ive found that using the glycolic acid has really helped them to fade quite significantly.... prob better then anything else ive used.I dont use any other harsh chemicals on my face though, I have had quite sensitive skin because of all the treatments ive used in the past... luckily through quitting using anything thats not organic or natural my skin has calmed down a lot so I dont find the acid effects me in any negative ways.My skin is quite oily though... and it didnt used to be, just ever since coming off birthcontrol. Its annoying as initially it looks quite nice and dewy and then by about 3pm its oily and messing up my make up! ive tried lots of stuff to try and stop it but its just non stop!
