After i ended my ketosis diet on the 9th March i then proceded to carbo binge for the next 4 weeks including copious amounts of chocolate and ice cream.
Considering my skin was just starting to improve nicely before i stopped ketosis the condition of my skin was terrible after a few weeks of the binge.
Maybe it was just the shock to the system, for god knows what reasons.
The chocolate and ice cream had to stop. When my supply ran out 7 days ago i didn't buy any more.
I was eating 1-2 bars of choclate a day + 1/2 to 3/4 of a tub of ben and jerrys or Haigendaz [sp] ice cream each night. No doubt the worse time to eat it also. I would say at least half of this ice cream had chocolate as the base also.
I have already given a possible explanation to as why the chocolate could have been causing problems but obvs the most obvious answer, along with the ice cream, would be the amount of sugar.
