Week 47, Day 5

I have nearly nothing to report anymore. I get compliments on my complexion all the time, and my face rarely ever gets pimples. If I do ever get a zit it goes away, doesn't really leave a red mark, and that's that. My body remains totally clear.

I almost think it's time that I retire this thing. There is nothing more to say... I'm a total success story though!!! I LOVE DKR, and I love microdermabrasion and Mederma scar gel. My skin hasn't ever looked this good, I don't think, except for one other time in my life after puberty.

Good luck to everyone on their journeys!!

hey hotglue! how is everything in Japan?Thats great that you've had such success with the DKR. You really give me inspiration to keep with it.I want to help my scars/red marks fade, and debate between using mederma or neosporin. The AHA is either too irritating or my skin just doesn't like it. I've read that mederma needs to be applied multiple times a day. How long has it taken for your scars/red marks to fade? I have fair skin like you, and saw your before pics. I hope all is well! Congrats on your skin :-

Hey!Thanks so much for following my progress and for following this blog, which has been really unexciting as of late...Anyway, I only used Mederma for my very slight pitted scarring, which no longer really exists at all anymore. I think there are a few reasons for that: the Mederma for sure, microdermabrasion, and time-- my skin has a history of evening out (and I know how lucky that makes me!).The red marks I left pretty much untreated... they took forever to fade though, and in all honesty I STILL have the traces of some left over from last February/March. I'd say it took about 3 months or so before I saw real progress just letting them fade naturally, and then every month after that things just got better and better. They were significantly faded to the point where people were complimenting my skin (with make up, though) by September, and then they were almost completely disappeared by November. With Mederma and microdermabrasion, though, things really went to the next level.I hope that helps at all!!I think I'm going to write a big final post today. There's nothing more to say here and it's been a really long, fulfilling journey... so yeah. Good luck and thanks for stopping by!
