Started Caveman Regime today after having spent most f the day reading thrugh the thread.
I must confess to not being keen on Dan's method n disrespect intended, or to antibotics or ther uch pills. Having tried antibotics with some degree of success I realised, as most users do, that once I stop taking the pills, the acne returns.
Apart from antibiotics, I have tried a great deal of methods. By far the most helpful was toquit smoking, which I did over a year ago. My hope - foolishly - was that my acne was linked to tabacco.
Well, after trying ginger, garlic, and all sort of herbal alternatives, I have decided to try the caveman regime. Im not 100% hopeful cause I think my acne is hormonal-based, but I have learnt to ease the effects by diet and exercise.
Junk food is a big no-no. As is dairy products and soft drinks.
So, mumblings aside, I step into the Caveman Regime.
Two medium-size spots on right side of nose. Two fading spots in almost mirror position to the left. Forehead has a few small whiteheads. One very small whitehead on left-side of chin.
Overall, not bad by my standards but very poor by the norm.
Sea salt soak on spots but no wash since the morning. Just a splash of water at about three o'clock to ease my oily skin.
Now, feeling a little greasy. Feeling good about this. Seems a logical approach and have done similar with hair - not washing for a month to bring about the natural oils.
Please Lord, let this work.
